The project was implemented for one of the best beauty salons in Warsaw. The goal is to reach potential customers and inform them about the current offer.
The target group is mainly women and the choice of colors is corresponding to the colors used in the logo.
The website has primarily an information function. In a simple and transparent way, it has to provide information about the scope of services, price list, personnel qualifications and location. It was also important to include contact details and leads on corporate social media.
As part of an extensive interview with the client who knows the visitors of the salon perfectly well, the target group and its needs were determined in a detailed manner.
RESEARCH / DATA COLLECTION / CONCEPT BUILDING
After careful research – including competition research – the time has come to collect all data and so the first concepts were created. An important determinant was the color scheme of the logo and the interior of the salon itself, decorated in a glamorous style. The website was supposed to be coherent with this catheter, and at the same time – not overwhelming,
so as not to distract the user from the presented content.
PROTOTYPE AND FIRST TESTS WITH USERS
The next step is a clickable prototype and first tests among users. It was an extremely important stage, because of the enormity of the content posted on the site – to see if everything is clear, or if the user is not lost on the site. A multitude of subcategories, extensive and detailed descriptions – all this is desirable by the target group, but at the same time – has to be be clear and transparent.
DESIGN / PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT / FURTHER TESTS
At this stage, design was mainly developed. The site structure, its functionality and the location of subsequent tools were already known at this point. It was necessary to refine the appearance of the page, typography, background – that everything should be consistent and clear.
FINAL PRODUCT / MONITORING / FEEDBACK / FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
The final product passed the exam, but still needs to be monitored. Along with the possible extension of the Salon’s offer, as part of any content updates, minor changes will be necessary – such as the distribution of categories. At the same time, be vigilant and be open to suggestions from users.
